Enroll Now for Hourly Care, Full-Time Care or Mother’s Day Out
In addition to Hourly Childcare, Gimmie A Break offers Full-time Care for children of all ages. During the school year, the Preschool curriculum for our Toddler Class (18-35 mos.) as well as for our Pre-Kinder Class (3 to 5 years old) includes all of the basics needed for Kindergarten preparation. Instruction occurs all day for Full-time Care and from 8:30 am to 11:30 am for Mother’s Day Out.

Our teachers work from a thematic approach that presents new and challenging concepts to the children. The curriculum is a balance between individual instruction, group time, and teacher directed activities. The curriculum design recognizes that children learn best through active participation. Unlike other Full-time Care and Mother’s Day Out programs, our parents have greater flexibility with their pick-up times because you are welcome to leave your child with us after the instructional period ends. Any additional time needed will be billed at your regular hourly rate. We simply ask that you make reservations in advance for any children staying past the instructional period who are under the age of 3 years old.
For children enrolled in our half-day Mother’s Day Out program, allow your child to join us for “Lunch Bunch” from 11:30 am until 2 pm once the Mother’s Day Out instruction is completed. This is a wonderful time for your child to socialize with their peers while having lunch, a rest period and movie, and some additional play time.

Calling All After-Schoolers to GAB!
The fun activities at Gimmie A Break are not just reserved for our preschool children. We welcome our school age children for After- School Care. Children are encouraged to complete their homework in our “Homework Corner” before getting play time. Free snacks are served at 4 pm, and dinner is served between 5 and 7 pm. After dinner, we have “Twilight” play time outside before it gets dark. .
Hourly Childcare in Clear Lake Texas
We are here to give you a break by providing hourly childcare. Over the past 24 years we have helped parents in Clear Lake, Friendswood, Dickinson, Kemah, League City and throughout the Bay Area of Houston.

Our service can be a big help when a busy parent needs to tend to business or an ailing family member, go shopping, see the doctor or dentist, enjoy an evening out for dinner or a show, or simply to relax and re-energize. The opportunities are endless! Gimmie A Break can also be the backup for your regular childcare or nanny, or when school is closed.
Do you need a service to pick up your child from school? No problem. We don’t provide transportation, but we can help arrange after school transportation to our facility if needed.
