Located in the Bay Area, we are Houston’s premiere hourly and full-time childcare center. Locally owned and operated since 1987, we have had the pleasure of providing childcare during the days, evenings, and weekends to the following communities:

At Gimmie A Break, our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and healthy environment for your kids to come learn, play, enjoy social interaction, and participate in a variety of stimulating activities, while giving you the break that you need.

The children have many fun and educational things to do while they’re in our care. During school hours (8:30 am- 3:00 pm)we offer an engaging curriculum for our Preschool children (ages 18 mos. through 5 years). During evenings and weekends, we also have board games, puzzles, Leggos, coloring, painting, arts and crafts, costume dress-ups, manipulatives, video games, movies, outdoor and indoor playgrounds, and much more! There is a separate room for ages seven and up that includes additional video games and movies along with air hockey and foosball tables.

We also provide weekly classes for your children to participate in, including dance, music, and Stretch-N-Grow Fitness. On school holidays and during Spring and Summer Breaks, we offer other types of entertainment and enrichment activities, such as presentations on Fire Safety by the Webster Fire Department. We have a weekly Summer Camp, which includes the kids' favorite activity: “Wet-n-Wild Wednesdays” using sprinklers and a water slide.  Click here to see the activity schedule.
